Hello everyone,

I’m Niesha. A native New Yorker, living in Kansas City since 2016. I pronounce coffee as, “caw-fee” and hot dogs as “hwat dawgs.” It is a funny accent that my Kansas born husband and kids love to tease me about. Accent aside, I have embraced my Kansas City home from the CHIEFS down to the BBQ brisket.

After graduating art school in Philadelphia, I returned to New York and worked for several wedding and event photographers. It is through the hustle and bustle, high demand and even higher pressure I learned how to capture beauty with speed and simplicity. I have also had plenty of practice creating visually interesting images from limited resources. My experiences have crafted my style as ladylike and graceful (hence my affinity for ladybugs) with a fashion first mindset. I’ve seen it and done it all: weddings, bar mitzvahs, street fashion, pregnancy and newborn shoots.

But this time it’s personal. I’m bravely venturing out to start my own business and photographing with love.

I am happiest taking photos of children outdoors, shooting film with my vintage camera collection, and painting glittery toenails with my beautiful daughters. They are my lil’ lovebugs.

With prayer, hard work and a little bit of luck I hope to pass this business onto them one day.
