I had the pleasure of doing a maternity shoot for Khartoum & Baba this spring.
They are welcoming a baby girl into world and decided to photograph the last few weeks before everything changes. Shawnee Mission Park has lovely flowering trees if you know where to look.
Luckily it wasn’t too hot and Khartoum was able to make the trek to the secret spot without over exerting herself. We even had time to squeeze in a few photos down at the boating dock, which turned out to be some of my favorites.
I love capturing the little moments between a couple that make you realize why they are so cute together. Khartoum and Baba often did the cutest poses when the camera was off. I hope they go into this summer and this new chapter of life still smiling and whispering jokes to each other. *Baba requested notto be included in the portfolio for privacy reasons. My hope is that they will print and frame the photos in their home for their friends and family to enjoy.
